Mick Jagger's ex found in contempt of court for not paying rent

Mick Jagger's first wife, Bianca Jagger, was found to be in contempt of court and fined $500 for failing to pay rent for her deluxe Manhattan apartment. New York's wcbstv.com reported that Jagger claimed that her apartment on New York's exclusive Park Avenue is infested with toxic mold which has made her physically sick. Jagger has sued her landlord for over $20 million, claiming that her apartment is "unlivable." She has refused to pay her monthly rent of $4,614.29 since February.

New York State Supreme Court Justice Leland DeGrasse fined Jagger the $500 and cited her for "willfully disobeying the explicit directives of two prior court orders requiring (her) to pay rent" while the suit was pending.

Jagger is now required to pay her rent to court on the first day of each month, until her current suit against the landlord is settled. If Jagger continues to withhold her monthly rent, her landlord can serve her with a notice of default and begin the eviction process within five days.

Mick and Bianca Jagger were married from 1971 to 1980. The couple has an adult daughter, model-actress, Jade Jagger.
