A.F.I. to release album as collection of singles
AFI will re-release its latest album, Decemberunderground, as a collection of six seven-inch singles, according to Punkbands.com. Each record, made of "icy" clear vinyl, will come in a picture sleeve each featuring a different member of the group, with the entire package coming in a clear plastic box stamped with the album's rabbit artwork. A poster and lyric sheet will also be included, along with a previously unreleased song called "Fallen Like The Sky."
As previously announced, the Goth-punk group will also release its first DVD later this year, titled I Heard A Voice. The disc features a concert shot in Long Beach, California along with behind-the-scenes material, a video collection and interviews with members of A.F.I.'s fan club, the Despair Faction.
Neither the boxed set nor the DVD have a release date yet.
A.F.I. announced that it will play a few East Coast club dates later this month and in early November, beginning on October 30th in Sayreville, New Jersey. The band is planning a full U.S. trek for early next year.
