Authorised Bruce Springsteen biography out now

A biography of Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, written with the cooperation of the musicians, is now available. The book is titled Greetings From E Street: The Story Of Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, and it opens with the '60s groups the future E Streeters played in, then traces their careers from The early days of The Boss through the band's 1999-2000 reunion tour. The book includes more than 200 pictures and documents, as well as tour stories and other info from the inside.

Greetings From E Street was written by Robert Santelli, a former music critic for the Asbury Park Press in New Jersey, who's known the guys and has been writing about them for over 30 years -- in fact, he teamed up with drummer Max Weinberg on his book The Big Beat, and with The Boss on his book Songs. Santelli is currently the Artistic Director at the Experience Music Project in Seattle.
