Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed join "Saw III" soundtrack

Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed have joined the soundtrack of the upcoming horror film Saw III, according to Blabbermouth.net. The album will be released on October 24th, while the movie hits screens on the 27th. Among other artists included on the record are Blue October, Helmet, Static-X, Eighteen Visions, Drowning Pool and Bullet For My Valentine.

Korn will not contribute a song to the project as previously reported.

Helmet and several other bands will play a Saw-related show on October 19th in New York City to promote the film and album, complete with gruesome props from the movie trilogy on display and cast members in attendance.
