Blind Faith DVD debuts high on chart
Blind Faith's new DVD London Hyde Park 1969 has debuted at Number Three on the Billboard chart for music DVDs. The concert disc features Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Ginger Baker, and Rick Grech playing their first public show together, on June 7th, 1969, in front of 100,000 people in Hyde Park in London. It also has footage of the members' earlier bands, including Cream, Traffic, and the Spencer Davis Group; a discography of their various recording projects before joining Blind Faith; and, a collection of rare photos set to Blind Faith's cover of the Buddy Holly song "Well All Right."
The band released one album and did one tour, in 1969. However, the members never reunited after the tour ended.
