Bon Jovi makes it to the UK Hall Of Fame

Bon Jovi is the latest name to be announced for this year's U.K. Music Hall Of Fame. They'll be inducted on November 14th, and they're expected to perform at the ceremony at the Alexandra Palace in London. The Hall Of Fame citation reads: "There are few acts in the world that can deliver stadium shows of massive proportions, release continuous hit albums, and solicit an entire new generation of fans 23 years into their career. Bon Jovi is that band."

This year's inductees also include Led Zeppelin, Rod Stewart, Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson, James Brown, and the late Dusty Springfield, and Beatles producer George Martin will be honored for his contributions to British music. The U.K. Music Hall Of Fame ceremony will air in Britain on November 16th, and on VH1 in America on November 25th.

While he's being honored in the U.K., frontman Jon doesn't expect to get the same treatment from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the U.S. A few years ago, he told us it would be nice, but he's not losing any sleep over it: "I'd be lying if I said it wouldn't be nice, but you know, that's a boys club too. And the people that run it, they've got their own little agenda. So the truth of the matter is the greatest compliment that I've had is the idea that twenty years and a hundred million albums later -- that's much cooler than anything else."
