Chevelle returns to studio
Chevelle has entered the studio to begin recording its fourth album, according to Blabbermouth.net. The Chicago-based band is looking at a spring 2007 release for the disc, which will follow up 2004's gold-selling This Type Of Thinking (Could Do Us In). The CD will also mark the recording debut of bassist Dean Bernardini, who joined the group last year after the departure of original member Joe Loeffler.
Tentative song titles for the new record include "Humanoid," "Straight Jacket Fashion" and "One Cell."
This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In) entered the Billboard Top 200 at Number Eight and featured the singles "Vitamin R (Leading Us Along)" and "The Clincher."
The group recently finished a series of U.S. dates opening for Nickelback.
