David Gilmour to release expanded edition of "On An Island"

David Gilmour will release a deluxe edition of his most recent solo album On An Island on November 21st. The expanded edition of the album, which debuted at Number Six on the Billboard sales chart, will include DVD content filmed during the Pink Floyd guitarist's April visit with AOL Sessions in New York as well as footage from a performance at the Abbey Road studios in England. We recently asked Gilmour's Floyd bandmate Nick Mason for his review of On An Island: "I thought it was terrific, I mean really nice. It is the album that I think he wanted to make. It's not a Pink Floyd album but it's got some great David Gilmour guitar on it."

The songs featured on the expanded DVD section are "On An Island," This Heaven," "Smile," "Take A Breath," "High Hopes," "Comfortably Numb," and "Astronomy Domine."
