Foo Fighters to release live album
Foo Fighters will release a live album called Skin And Bones on November 7th, according to Billboard.com. The 15-track collection was taped in late August during three Los Angeles shows on the band's recent acoustic tour, which featured the quartet backed by four additional musicians. A DVD filmed at the same three shows, which will include extra songs and bonus features, will come out later in November. The track listing for Skin And Bones features unplugged versions of hits such as "Everlong" and "Big Me," as well as songs from the acoustic half of the band's 2005 album, In Your Honor.
The group also performs the Nirvana rarity "Marigold," which Foo Fighters main man Dave Grohl wrote while he was that band's drummer.
The band will continue its acoustic shows this fall with a performance at Neil Young's Bridge School benefit concert later this month, as well as a string of dates opening for Bob Dylan.
