Former Kiss guitarist's appeal turned down by supreme court

The United States Supreme Court has declined to hear an appeal by former Kiss guitarist Vinnie Vincent, who has been suing to claim royalties from the band's 1983 album Lick It Up. Lower courts have dismissed his claims, saying he had been salaried at the time and had received all the payment he was entitled to. Vincent filed the $6 million suit in 1997.
