The Fray singer recalls "How To Save A Life" experience
The Fray continues to climb up the charts with its latest single "How To Save A Life," a song that singer Isaac Slade says was inspired by an experience he had a few years ago. Slade told us that the situation fueled the concept behind the track: "There was a kid that I mentored. They hooked us up. Like it was kind of a weekend thing at this group home. The parents don't want to send them to jail and they can't help him themselves. So they sent them to this place, and they paired me up with this kid who is a musician and he was coming out of all kinds of drug addictions and alcoholism and emotional abuse. He was 17, so he had like a rough youth coming out of it."
The Fray's tour stops in Boston on Monday, October 23rd, and wraps on November 20th in Spokane, Washington.
