Genesis reunion confirmed
The long-rumored Genesis reunion is now confirmed. Invitations have been sent out for a press conference on November 7th to officially announce the Turn It On Again tour with singer-drummer Phil Collins, guitarist-bassist Mike Rutherford, and keyboardist Tony Banks.
Original Genesis frontman Peter Gabriel is not part of the reunion, but that could change in the future. In a video message on his official website petergabriel.com, the singer said: "I'm not involved in this round, or this year, so (I) just wanted to make that clear. I haven't ruled out the possibility of, of doing something in the future, but right now I'm gonna focus on, on my own work."
Gabriel left Genesis for a solo career in 1975, and Collins left the group in 1996 to concentrate on his own recording and touring plans
