Hinder bassist recalls Extreme Behaviour on Halloween
Not all the horrific sights on Halloween come from ghosts, goblins or bad costumes. Hinder bassist Mike Rodden told us about the time he made a real fright out of himself at a holiday party: "One year for Halloween, you know, I went to, like a party and, you know, you dress up or whatever, and I, you know, I brought my date with me. I ended up drinking a whole bottle of Jaeger and it got pretty messy, and my date actually had to carry me out and she -- I'm a skinny guy, but she was smaller than me and she had to drag me out of the party and throw me in the car. It was a pretty gross story. It wasn't scary, it was just...gross."
Hinder's debut album, Extreme Behavior, sold another 76,000 copies last week to pass the one million mark in sales. It currently sits at Number Seven on the Billboard Top 200.
The group plays on Wednesday, November 1st, in Englewood, Colorado as it continues its headlining U.S. tour.
The band will play some shows later this year with Staind, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace and Aerosmith, and will close out its 2006 road schedule with a homecoming show in Oklahoma City on December 30th.
