Meat Loaf: Bat III is a great record
Meat Loaf's back on Tuesday, October 31st, with the release of Bat Out Of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose. It's the third chapter in the Bat Out Of Hell saga, and the singer told us that he's really proud of how it turned out: "It is a great record. (Producer) Desmond Child did phenomenal, and everybody that played on it is outstanding -- you know, from (Queen guitarist) Brian May to (former Frank Zappa and David Lee Roth guitarist) Steve Vai, (Paul McCartney guitarist) Rusty Anderson, a lot of guys in my band, (former John Mellencamp drummer) Kenny Aronoff, all the singers, everybody involved... I mean, it's just a phenomenal job done by an awful lot of people." Selected tracks from Bat Out Of Hell III feature on TheRockRadio.com.
Meat will perform music from all three Bat Out Of Hell albums at the Palace Theatre on Broadway in New York City on Thursday (November 2nd). He's got a handful of other shows in the next few weeks, and a proper tour will be mounted next year.
