Paul Stanley releases solo album

Paul Stanley steped out on his own on Tuesday, October 24th, with the release of his new solo album, titled Live To Win. The singer and guitarist is really proud of his first solo record since 1978, when all the members of Kiss put out simultaneous solo projects, and he told us that the songs reflect who he is and how he got to this point in his life: "It's a very confident album. You know, I think that it's an album that sings about winning, and about victory, and about not compromising. I think if I needed a motto, or a mantra, it's 'Live To Win.' You know, that's what got me here, is believing in myself and not listening to anybody who said... you know, to me, 'impossible' is a four-letter word."

Stanley is on a solo tour, and his next show is tonight at Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida. He's being backed on the dates by the house band from the Rock Star TV series.
