Rise Against issuing DVD in December

Rise Against will release its first DVD on December 5th, titled Generation Lost. In addition to live footage captured on this past summer's Warped Tour, the disc will feature performances from a show the band played last spring in Los Angeles. Also included is a documentary filmed over the summer called How We Survive. The band wrote at its official Web site, "While the documentary certainly talks about each of the band members, it also takes time to remove the spotlight from the band and shine it deservedly on our amazing fans, who are the true gears that keep us moving."

Rise Against's fourth album, The Sufferer and the Witness, came out on July 4th and debuted at Number 10 on the Billboard Top 200.

The punk band began a North American tour with Thursday on Monday, October 23rd, in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The two groups also appeared on Tuesday, October 24th, in Fort Lauderdale.
