Strokes guitarist doing solo US shows
Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. will play a string of solo East Coast dates beginning on October 28th in Asbury Park, New Jersey, according to AntiMusic.com. Hammond is touring in support of his debut solo album, Yours To Keep, which was issued earlier this month in the U.K. but has yet to snag a release date here. A single from the CD, titled "101," is expected to head to radio stations at the end of November.
Hammond will head to the U.K. for a brief tour at the end of November.
The Strokes recently completed a U.S. tour in support of its third album, First Impressions of Earth.
