Tim Burton-directed Killers video premiering next week
The Killers will premiere the video for their new single, "Bones," next Wednesday (October 25th) on MTV's TRL. The clip was directed by filmmaker Tim Burton and frontman Brandon Flowers told us that the band couldn't believe their luck in landing him: "Well, we never thought Tim would say yes, but we had to try, and he did and it's been such a great turn of events for us to be in the same room with him and talk to him and learn from him and get to have him make a video, and he's such a nice guy and the video's great. It was really fun working on it."
Burton, who has directed films like Batman, Edward Scissorhands and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, made his debut as a music video director with "Bones."
The Killers will perform on CBS-TV's Late Show with David Letterman next Tuesday (October 24th).
The band's sophomore album, Sam's Town, has sold 418,000 copies since being released just over two weeks ago.
The Las Vegas-based band is currently touring North America and played on Friday, October 20th in Toronto, Canada.
