Venues for Disturbed tour finalised
Venues have been added to the dates and cities revealed last week for Disturbed's third Music As A Weapon tour, which kicks off on November 15th in Providence, Rhode Island. Stone Sour, Nonpoint and Flyleaf will join the headliners for the trek. Disturbed singer David Draiman told us that putting together a solid lineup is always the most challenging aspect of the tour: "It's just really difficult to, you know, weigh out the options, and we want to just put together the strongest bill we possibly can without having to repeat prior situations too much, and try and give people something a little bit original and certainly something that will be memorable for them."
Disturbed is supporting its third album, Ten Thousand Fists, which has sold 1.2 million copies since its September 2005 release. The CD's latest single is a cover of the Genesis hit "Land Of Confusion."
Stone Sour and Flyleaf recently shared the stage on Korn's Family Values package. Flyleaf is supporting its self-titled debut album, while Stone Sour is touring behind its sophomore effort, Come What(ever) May.
