"Absolute" Garbage to be taken out in March

Garbage will release a "best-of" compilation called Absolute Garbage on March 20th, according to NME.com. The collection will feature all the band's singles, such as "Vow," "Queer," "Only Happy When It Rains" and "Stupid Girl," as well as its title song for the 1999 James Bond movie, The World Is Not Enough, and one yet-to-be-named new track. The band remains on the "indefinite" hiatus it began about a year ago, after completing a world tour in support of its fourth album, Bleed Like Me.

AOL Music recently reported that Garbage vocalist Shirley Manson has enlisted White Stripes/Raconteurs frontman Jack White and Smashing Pumpkins founder Billy Corgan to collaborate on songs for her first solo album. The disc is expected to arrive sometime in 2007.

Garbage drummer Butch Vig is producing the new album from Jimmy Eat World.
