Blue October postpones rest of tour

Blue October has postponed the remaining dates on its current North American tour after frontman Justin Furstenfeld re-injured his right leg last week. The affected shows will be rescheduled for January of 2007. A posting from the band's management at its official web site said, "Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Our number one concern is (Furstenfeld's) health and safety. We will announce the re-scheduled dates very soon...We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you at the re-scheduled shows."

The posting added that tickets for the postponed gigs will be valid for the rescheduled ones, but fans can also return them to the venue for a full refund.

Furstenfeld re-injured his leg during a November 4th show in Louisville, Kentucky, damaging a bone and ligaments that were injured in a previous incident last spring.

The vocalist first injured the leg on April 29th in Tampa, Florida, breaking his femur bone and tearing a ligament while running the bases at a local minor league ballpark.

Blue October has been touring in support of its fourth studio album, Foiled, which features the singles "Hate Me" and "Into The Ocean."

Postponed Blue October dates:
Nov 24 - Austin, TX - Stubb's BBQ
Nov 25 - Austin, TX - Stubb's BBQ
Nov 26 - Houston, TX - Warehouse Live
Nov 29 - Dallas, TX - Lakewood Theater
Nov 30 - Dallas, TX - Lakewood Theater
