Bob Dylan Broadway musical to close next week after only 28 performances

The Bob Dylan Broadway musical The Times The Are A-Changin' is on the way out. The show, which features Dylan songs accompanied by choreography by Twyla Tharp, opened to generally awful reviews, and a spokesperson told Reuters that the last show will be November 19th. In all, The Times They Are A-Changin' will have played 28 shows. There's been no word from Dylan himself about the show's closing.

Tharp has had success in this format before, having choreographed the Billy Joel musical Movin' Out, which that ran for several years on Broadway.
