Bruce Springsteen says E Street music coming from Seeger sessions tour
We might not have to wait too long for a new Bruce Springsteen album with the E Street Band. The Boss has said a few times this year that he sees an E Street project on the horizon, and he recently told a group of reporters in Oslo, Norway, "I'm working on a record for the E Street Band and myself, so I have been writing on the road... One thing I've found is that in playing more, I've also been writing more... I'm an old musician, and I don't go out and drink and party -- I stay in my room and I work on music."E Street Band guitarist and Sopranos star Little Steven told us that nothing's been set yet, but he thinks it could happen sooner rather than later: "We haven't really talked seriously about it, but I wouldn't rule out something as early as '07. I mean, you know, we work quickly -- he could call tomorrow, (and) we could be on the road with a new album in three months. There's been no plans, and I don't mean to suggest there have been, but things could happen quite quickly."
Springsteen's on a short break from a European tour with his Seeger Sessions Band. They head back out starting Monday (November 6th) in Cologne, Germany, and they finish up in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on November 21st.
