Eric Clapton sets more US dates

Eric Clapton's North American tour just ended a few weeks ago, and he's already making plans to come back. Clapton has announced dates for a West Coast run that as of now starts February 28th in Dallas. There are currently seven shows booked through April 5th in Auburn Hills, Michigan, but that itinerary will expand in the coming days.

The guitar legend is also trying to work out a schedule where he and songwriter J.J. Cale can share the stage, to promote their new album The Road To Escondido. It's unknown whether Cale will be on these dates, or if they'll perform in different venues away from the arenas Clapton usually plays.

Clapton and his group, which includes Allman Brothers band slide guitarist Derek Trucks, are in the midst of a Japanese tour that runs until December 9th.

The itinerary (subject to change):
Feb 28 - Dallas, TX - American Airlines Center
Mar 5 - Oklahoma City, OK - The Ford Center
Mar 23 - Vancouver, BC - General Motors Place
Mar 25 - Edmonton, AB - Rexall Place
Mar 26 - Calgary, AB - Pengrowth Saddledome
Mar 28 - Winnipeg, MB - MTS Centre
Apr 5 - Auburn Hills, MI - Palace Of Auburn Hills
