Hinder "pumped" about opening for Aerosmith

Hinder has been on the road for over a year in support of its debut album, Extreme Behavior, playing shows with big bands like Nickelback and Staind. But guitarist Joe "Blower" Garvey told us that the group is especially excited about three gigs it's doing in December with the legendary Aerosmith: "I am so stoked, like, the whole band, like when we found out about those, we were really just stoked about it. You know, we've shared the stage with a lot of our favorite bands but, you know, with these three dates coming up, we're like, 'Oh my God,' you know, especially if it's just us and Aerosmith. So, yeah, we are so -- we're really pumped about those."

Hinder will open for Aerosmith on December 1st in Detroit, December 15th in Reno, Nevada, and December 17th in Sacramento, California.

The Oklahoma-based band is currently on a headlining run, but will team up with Staind, 3 Doors Down, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin and Buckcherry at different points throughout this month and December.

The unstoppable Extreme Behavior sits at Number Six on this week's Billboard Top 200 and has sold 1.1 million copies.

Hinder plays on Friday, November 3rd, in Kansas City, Missouri.
