Incubus singer publishing new book in January 2007
Incubus will release its new album, Light Grenades, in about two weeks, but singer Brandon Boyd will also have something else out in January. Boyd told us that while Incubus was on vacation in 2005, he took the opportunity to write his second book: "It's called From The Murks of the Sultry Abyss and it was definitely a very creative time for me, it just wasn't carried out necessarily in the realm of Incubus until 2006, when we started writing Light Grenades."
Boyd's previous book, White Fluffy Clouds, was a collection of poetry, artwork and writings conceived by Boyd while on the road with Incubus.

Boyd isn't the only rocker publishing a book in January. Also that month, Godsmack's Sully Erna will unveil a memoir called The Paths We Choose.
Light Grenades, the sixth studio album from Incubus, arrives on November 28th. The CD's first single is called "Anna Molly."
Incubus will begin a theatre tour on January 5th in Vancouver, Canada, with shows booked through February 11th in Los Angeles.
