Killers to play VH1 "Big in '06 Awards"

The Killers will lead the lineup of acts playing at this year's VH1 Big In '06 Awards, airing December 3rd at 9:00 p.m. The Fray, Weird Al Yankovic and Fergie are also slated to perform. A slew of celebrities have been tapped to appear at the annual event, including Justin Timberlake, Eva Longoria, Kiefer Sutherland, Joey Lawrence, Lance Bass, Ice-T, Brooke Hogan, Tommy Lee, Mario Lopez and Katharine McPhee, among others. The D.L. Hughley-hosted show will give out awards to the biggest stars, moments and crazes of 2006.

The Killers are currently touring Europe in support of their sophomore album, Sam's Town.

The latest single from the disc is "Bones," for which filmmaker Tim Burton directed the video.
