Radiohead singer mounting artwork exhibition?
Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke might be participating in an artwork exhibition starting next week, according to NME, but as usual, the singer's plans are shrouded in mystery. An exhibition titled "'Stanley Donwood & Dr. Tchock: Paintings, Etc." is scheduled to be held in Barcelona, Spain from November 23rd to December 16th. Stanley Donwood is a frequent collaborator with Radiohead, while "Dr. Tchock" is a pseudonym that Yorke has used in the past for various art-related projects. The Barcelona show will feature artwork from Radiohead albums such as Kid A, Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief, but it is not certain what "Dr. Tchock" will contribute to the event.
Other false names that Yorke has worked under include "Tchocky" and "The White Chocolate Farm."
The paintings on display, which were all created between 1999 and 2005, will be accompanied by the publication of a book called Dead Children Playing: A Picture Book.
More information can be found at Stanley Donwood's web site, SlowlyDownward.com.
Radiohead is reportedly at work on its seventh studio album.
