Styx DVD with Youth Orchestra released

Out on Tuesday, November 21st is One With Everything, the new DVD from Styx and the Contemporary Youth Orchestra. It was shot back in May at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and it includes Styx classics like "Blue Collar Man," "Renegade," and their cover of the Beatles standard "I Am The Walrus," along with two new songs Styx wrote for the occasion, and some Christmas music. Styx singer-guitarist James "J.Y." Young told us that the enthusiasm of everyone on the stage that night is evident throughout the DVD: "I know we're a strong live band, and I think finally, this videotape has captured our strength, and we have these young people next to us who are performing with us, and then their own enthusiasm just... that's what really jumps off the screen."

Footage from the show began airing on cable's HDNet over the weekend, and it will be shown on PBS stations in December.

There's also a One With Everything CD that came out two weeks ago.

Styx is back on the road beginning December 1st in Las Vegas.
