The Who offering day-long visit with the band in charity auction
The Who are auctioning off a day-long hang with the band in a charity auction. The winning bidder and a guest will spend a day with the Who on tour, including a meeting with Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, and they'll also attend soundcheck and get VIP seats for the concert, as well as a Who box set and an autographed copy of the new Who album Endless Wire. The prize will be awarded for a show on next year's tour, with the date to be announced later, but bidders are advised that travel, food, and accommodations are not included. To get in on the action, go to ebay.com/thewho, but make sure you do it soon, because the auction ends Sunday (November 5th) at 8 p.m. ET.
Proceeds go to the non-profit Starlight Foundation, which helps make life easier for seriously ill children and their families. For more information, go to starlight.org.
The next show for the Who is on Saturday, November 4th, at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
