Coldplay posts holiday video online
Coldplay has posted a short film on the band's official web site as a holiday greeting to its fans, according to NME. The film, called Coldplay Dance Anthems 1906 and set in "olde London town," is shot to look like an old movie. It features the band members dressed in period costumes and dancing to several techno songs, including a section of their hit "Clocks." At one point guitarist Jonny Buckland says, "I would just like to wish you all a merry Christmas. I predict railways will be big in the future."
Coldplay will head out on a South American tour in February and March, on which the band may preview some new material.
Coldplay has been working on songs for its fourth album, which is tentatively expected to arrive in late 2007 and will follow the band's massively successful 2005 effort, X&Y.
