Disturbed planning second leg of "music as a weapon"

Disturbed wraps up the first leg of the latest Music As A Weapon tour tomorrow night (Friday, December 22nd) in Madison, Wisconsin, and plans are already in the works for a second leg in early 2007. Although dates, venues and acts are not confirmed, Disturbed vocalist David Draiman told us that they're all on the way: "The other leg is definitely in the planning stage. We are as yet still trying to solidify that bill. But we're definitely talking to people and it's looking to be as strong of a lineup as we've thankfully been able to assemble this time for this first leg. We want to bring it to the other half of the country that we're missing on this one, and just bring a little bit of brimstone, hellfire and rock 'n' roll."

The current Music As A Weapon bill, which also features Stone Sour, Flyleaf and Nonpoint, plays on Thursday, December 21st, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Draiman promised that the second leg of the trek would feature the same large-scale production as the first.

Meanwhile, the tour's Tuesday (December 19th) stop in Green Bay, Wisconsin was marred when as many as 30 people were treated for various moshpit injuries, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Between 25 and 30 concertgoers were treated for cuts, bruises and overheating, with two sent to the hospital. There were also two alcohol-related arrests.

Disturbed continues supporting its third album, Ten Thousand Fists, which features the band's recent Number One rock single, "Land Of Confusion."
