Former Weezer frontman offers "Best of 2006" list
Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has offered his "Stuff I Liked in 2006" list to the Harvard Crimson, the newspaper of the university he graduated from last June, and in typical Cuomo fashion, it's full of quirky choices. His favorite thing of the year was a greatest hits album by Hall & Oates, while some of his best songs of 2006 include Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie," Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy" and Panic! At The Disco's "I Write Sins Not Tragedies." Among his book choices are Sam Harris's Letter to a Christian Nation and reporter Bob Woodward's State of Denial, and while he admits to enjoying the first season of Lost on DVD, he worries that he might have to give up the show because it's "too violent."
Other song choices on Cuomo's list include tunes from Keane, the Fray, country artist Tim McGraw, Chinese pop star Fish Leong and rappers Yung Joc and Chamillionaire.
