Hinder guitarist going home to "extreme" Christmas tree

Hinder finally takes a break from the road this week to enjoy the Christmas holidays at home before heading right back out on tour. For guitarist Joe "Blower" Garvey, going home for the holidays means contending with his father's Christmas tree, as he told us: "It's like 18, 20 feet high, and it's always a big pain in the ass to decorate this thing, 'cause we got the ladders out, we got me and my brother yellin' at each other, throwin' lights around. We have boxes beyond boxes, like, cases of just lights. And actually my uncle's the big one on decorating, he's the one that decorates like three months before the holiday and then it's just crazy."

Hinder resumes touring the day after Christmas (Tuesday, December 26th) in Houston, Texas.

The band's early 2007 trek has dates in the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, South and Northeast confirmed through late February.

Most of the gigs will feature support from Black Stone Cherry and Finger Eleven. Hinder continues to support its nearly double platinum 2005 debut album, Extreme Behavior.
