Jethro Tull planning 2 DVDs for 2007
Jethro Tull is planning to release a couple of new live DVD projects in 2007, each of which will cover different material. Band leader Ian Anderson gave us the inside info: "One of the DVDs is actually a compilation of various performances on ZDF, the main German television channel, going back, actually, quite a long way, so it's a collection of live Jethro Tull stuff in, both in the television studios (and) a lot of live concert material. And then there's another one, which is Jethro Tull live at the Montreux Jazz Festival a couple of years ago."
The ZDF material should be out in the first quarter. Details for the Montreux show are still being worked out, but Anderson is confident that it will be released sooner rather than later.
There's also talk about a Tull historical documentary, but that's still a while off.
