Meat Loaf announces N. American tour

Meat Loaf is gearing up for a full-on North American tour. The seven-week Seize The Night Tour currently starts on February 23rd in Pala, California, and ends April 12th in New York City. Meat Loaf will follow the pattern set in the fall, when he did three-act shows to highlight all three of his Bat Out Of Hell albums, including the newest one, Bat Out Of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose, which was released on Halloween (October 31st). Tickets for the tour go on sale on Saturday (December 16th).

Meatloaf is excited to hit the road, but he told us he doesn't love the idea of doing it in cold weather: "I don't do cold. We don't do winters. Winters are meant to be in my house, or down in Mexico, or somewhere where there's no snow. Although I've got this terrible fear that I'm going to be rehearsing in New York, but you know what? I'm not gonna -- I'm bringing 'em to California."
