Radiohead singer performing 2 new songs online

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke will perform two new songs on a new TV program that will be available online, according to NME. The show, called From The Basement, will premiere on December 18th at fromthebasement.tv. Yorke will play "Videotape" and "Down Is The New Up," both of which the band has played live and are contenders for inclusion on the next Radiohead album.

A three-song performance from the White Stripes will also appear on the program.

Radiohead has spent much of the last year sporadically working on its seventh studio album, with recording sessions becoming more urgent in the last couple of months.

The band previewed a number of new songs on U.S. and European tours last spring and summer.
