Sparta taking control on co-headlining tour

Sparta has confirmed the dates and venues for a co-headlining tour with MeWithoutYou, which is scheduled to begin on February 22nd in Omaha, Nebraska and extend into mid-March. Before the trek kicks off, Sparta will play a warm-up gig on January 27th in Park City, Utah as part of the Sundance Film Festival. The band is touring in support of its recently released new album, Threes, which features the single "Taking Back Control."

Sparta recently completed a headlining tour as well as some dates opening for the Deftones.

"Taking Back Control" will appear on the soundtrack of the upcoming movie The Invisible, which will also feature songs from Snow Patrol, Death Cab For Cutie and A Perfect Circle. The movie and soundtrack will arrive in early 2007.
