Switchfoot maps out tour

Switchfoot has mapped out a North American tour in support of its upcoming new album, Oh! Gravity, which arrives in stores on December 26th. The band will begin its campaign on February 14th in San Francisco, with dates confirmed through March 31st in its hometown of San Diego. Fan club pre-sales have already begun, with tickets going on sale on Friday, December 15th, to the general public. The band will also make an appearance on CBS-TV's Late Show with David Letterman on January 4th.

Fans who pre-order Oh! Gravity through Switchfoot's web site will receive a free three-song EP of unreleased material not available anywhere else.

Oh! Gravity is Switchfoot's sixth studio effort and follows 2005's Nothing Is Sound.
