10 Years bassist says new songs are "top notch"
10 Years entered a studio earlier this week to lay down demos of its songs before beginning proper recording of its next album on February 5th in Nashville. The band has spent the last two months writing and fine-tuning the bulk of the material, and bassist Lewis Cosby told us he's excited by what he's hearing: "I mean, this is probably the most top-notch stuff that we've ever come up with, so I mean, I can't wait to hear it. I think people are gonna hear this album and, you know, it's still 10 Years, but it really is extremely different from the one before. And I know every band says that about, you know, their next album they come out with, but I can honestly stand by what I'm telling you."
Cosby added that a tentative title for the album is Bye Design.
The new 10 Years outing will follow up 2005's The Autumn Effect, which featured the singles "Wasteland," "Through The Iris" and "Waking Up."
10 Years toured behind The Autumn Effect for 18 months, finishing up last summer with a spot on the Family Values tour.
