Aerosmith frontman to speak at peace movement rally
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has signed on for a pro-peace event next week in Washington, D.C. Tyler will speak at a rally held by The Peace Alliance, a group whose aim is the establishment of a United States Department Of Peace. The Peace Alliance, which describes itself as "a nonpartisan citizen organization advocating for legislation that supports a culture of peace," hopes that a Department Of Peace would draft legislation to help end poverty, violence, and abuse in America. The event will take place Monday (February 5th) at George Washington University.Aerosmith is mapping out a world tour for this year, and they also plan to release a new album.
Tyler's son Taj Tallarico turns 16 today (Wednesday, January 31st).
