Arctic Monkeys drummer designs clothing line
Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders is getting into clothing design, according to NME. Helders has designed a number of items for a company called Supremebeing. The manufacturer's Arctic Monkeys Collection features a jacket, a hoodie with zipper and three T-shirts. Helders, who often wears Supremebeing items, said, "I've always been interested in doing stuff like this, and I love the Supremebeing gear, so when they asked if I wanted to do something with them I was well up for it!"
The Arctic Monkeys Collection will go on sale in May, both online and in U.K. clothing stores. There's no word on whether it will be available in U.S. shops.
Arctic Monkeys are working on the follow-up to last year's acclaimed debut disc, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, which will tentatively come out later this year.
