Avenged Sevenfold DVD on the way
Avenged Sevenfold has issued an update online confirming that the band will release its long-rumored debut DVD sometime this spring. The post read in part, "There is definitely going to be an Avenged Sevenfold DVD out this spring, but we can't say much more other than filming just wrapped here in Huntington Beach and we're super pumped for you to see it. So stay tuned as the weeks go on for all the details and release info."
Guitarist Zacky Vengeance told us that Avenged Sevenfold's raunchy antics on and offstage might make a DVD controversial: "It's a little bit hard with a band like ours, because we're so, you know, racy at times and over the top that it's kind of scary to have some stuff on, you know, video. One of our favorite DVDs of all time is actually all the Pantera DVDs, because it lets you into their lives a little bit, just enough to see their personalities. So we're hoping we can offer our fans something like that, to see us at our best and at our worst and at our drunkest, and hopefully there won't be too much incriminating evidence."
Avenged Sevenfold has been writing songs for its next album over the past few months and plans to hit the studio this spring.
