Bono speech being made into new book

A speech made by U2 frontman Bono will be published in book form in April. Titled On The Move: A Speech By Bono, the book will include a 2005 address he gave at a White House conference on poverty and AIDS in Africa, as well as photos he has taken, including some from 1985, when Bono made his first trip to Ethiopia. During the speech, which was titled "On The Move," Bono urged Americans to help solve the problems facing Africa. On The Move: A Speech By Bono will be out April 3rd, and the current plans are for the book to only be available in North America.

The idea to make a book of the "On The Move" speech came from publisher David Moberg, who said, ""I was very motivated after hearing Bono speak and asked myself how we could help. We're honored to publish this book and assist in whatever way we can with Bono's efforts on behalf of the ONE campaign."

Money from the sale of the book will go to the ONE campaign, which is dedicated to ending AIDS, poverty, Third World debt cancellation, and trade reform, among other issues. For more information, go to one.org.
