Breaking Benjamin taking "Breath" up the charts

Breaking Benjamin has a new single climbing the rock charts called "Breath," and as usual frontman Ben Burnley doesn't want to divulge what the song is about. But that doesn't mean he isn't open to other people interpreting his tunes. Burnley told us about the strangest explanation he ever heard: "We have a song called 'Breakdown' off of our last record, and this guy was saying it was about, like, a small town kind of thing, and somebody finds a dead body, and, like, you know, in a small town that's a big deal and all these kinds of things. So I went back and I listened to it and it was like, I could totally see how he would say that, but I had no intention of that when I wrote it! But I guess maybe subliminally I did."

Breaking Benjamin will begin a new round of headlining dates next month, starting on February 6th in Lynchburg, Virginia.

The trip will include cities the band missed when it dropped off its tour with Godsmack late last year due to illness.

The Pennsylvania-based band will start an opening stint for Nickelback on February 20th in Tacoma, Washington.

Breaking Benjamin has been touring in support of its third album, Phobia.
