Dave Matthews to guest-star on "House"

Dave Matthews will guest star on an episode of the Fox series House this March. According to Variety.com, he'll play a man who suffered a severe neurological impairment as the result of an accident when he was 10 years old. Although the incident affected his character's mental development, it left him with a musical gift: the ability to play the piano flawlessly despite never having taken a lesson.

Matthews has previously appeared in the movie Because Of Winn-Dixie. He'll next star in the upcoming indie film Lake City, alongside Sissy Spacek and Troy Garity.

The Dave Matthews Band song "Some Devil" appeared in a 2005 episode of House.

The group started work on a new album last year.
