Fall Out Boy headlining Honda Civic Tour
Fall Out Boy will headline the 2007 Honda Civic Tour, according to Billboard.com. The trek will begin on April 18th in Charlotte, North Carolina, with the full list of dates, venues and supporting acts to be revealed later this month. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on February 17th, with pre-sales also yet to be announced. The band played a surprise show at the company's headquarters on Friday (January 5th) to celebrate the news.
Fall Out Boy has designed a custom Honda Civic Hybrid that will be displayed throughout the tour, with one concertgoer winning the vehicle at the end of the jaunt. It comes with Fall Out Boy graphics, hemp upholstery, and a fully loaded audio system featuring personal messages from bassist Pete Wentz.
Fall Out Boy began its Friends or Enemies tour last week, launching the band's first full run of headlining dates in support of its upcoming new album, Infinity On High. The brief trek, which hits St. Louis, Missouri tomorrow (Wednesday, January 10th), ends on January 20th in Orlando, Florida.
Infinity On High arrives in stores on February 6th.
Fall Out Boy has also taped a performance for AOL Music's "Sessions" page, featuring three songs from the upcoming album.
