Fall Out Boy playing three shows on day of album release
Fall Out Boy will play three shows in three different locations on the day its new album is released, according to MTV.com. The band will celebrate the February 6th arrival of Infinity On High by playing that morning at the Times Square studios of MTV, followed later that day by a show at the House of Blues in their hometown of Chicago. The 24-hour marathon will conclude with a flight to Los Angeles and a concert there on the roof of a downtown building. Bassist Pete Wentz said, "The best thing about it is that all of the shows are going to be free. So everyone should come out and hang out with us, because it's gonna be a good time."

The band is also working on a contest with MTV where the winner will spend all day with the band and travel with them from show to show.
The impending release of Infinity On High has been plagued by a couple of marketing mishaps. The album leaked online two weeks ago, prompting panic at the band's record company. The situation was compounded when it was announced earlier this week that teen retail chain Hot Topic would not initially carry the record due to a dispute with the label.
Fall Out Boy will headline the 2007 Honda Civic Tour, which kicks off on April 18th in Charlotte, North Carolina.
