Former Creed frontman and wife have daughter
Former Creed frontman Scott Stapp and his wife Jaclyn Nesheiwat welcomed a daughter into the world last Thursday (January 4th), according to Stapp's record label. A statement said that the baby girl was named Milan Hayat Stapp, with Milan coming from Stapp's Cherokee background and meaning "to have the creativity of God." Hayat, meanwhile, reflects Nesheiwat's Jordanian background and means "to give life."
Stapp has a son named Jagger from a previous relationship.
The singer married Nesheiwat, the 2004 winner of the Miss New York USA pageant, last February in Miami.
Stapp released his first solo album, The Great Divide, in late 2005. The vocalist followed the record's release with several incidents of public drunkenness and a stint in rehab. A homemade 1999 sex tape featuring Stapp, Kid Rock and several women also surfaced last year.
