Good Charlotte planning special Wal-Mart performance

Good Charlotte will tape a special in-studio performance on February 13th in Los Angeles, to be shown exclusively in Wal-Mart stores and on the chain's web site. The project is in conjunction with the March 27th release of its fourth album, Good Morning Revival. Wal-Mart will also be one of several retailers -- including Target, Circuit City, and Best Buy -- who will sell a version of the album with exclusive bonus tracks.

Good Morning Revival is Good Charlotte's first release since 2004's platinum The Chronicles Of Life And Death. It was produced by Don Gilmore, who helmed the group's self-titled 2000 debut.

The album's first single, "The River," features guest appearances by Avenged Sevenfold members M. Shadows and Synyster Gates.

Good Morning Revival is available for pre-order at sonymusicstore.com. It will be available for another pre-order at itunes.com beginning January 30th.

The group plans to begin a world tour shortly after the album's release.
